Tujuan penelitian untuk
mengetahui kondisi iklim mikro dan topografi pada habitat Parashorea malaanonan Merr di hutan alam. Metode penelitian sebagai
berikut:1. Lokasi penelitian di KHDTK Labanan, Kabupaten Berau, Kalimantan
Timur dan Tane Olen, Desa Setulang kabupaten Malinau, Kalimantan Utara. 2. Penentuan plot
menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Plot penelitian berbentuk bujur sangkar
dengan luas 1 hektar; 3. Data berupa: a. Data iklim mikro, yaitu suhu, kelembaban
udara, intensitas cahaya; b. Data topografi; 4. Analisis Data: Data lapangan akan
ditabulasi dan di analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil
penelitian :1. Intensitas cahaya: a. Pada plot 1 KHDTK Labanan, intensitas
cahaya pagi hari rata-rata 21,28% (425,3Lm), siang hari rata-rata 29,63% (592,3Lm)
dan sore hari rata-rata 19,73% (394,3Lm);
b. Pada
plot 2 Tane olen, Desa Setulang, intensitas cahaya pagi hari rata-rata 20,04% (400,67Lm),
siang rata-rata 23,46% (469Lm) dan sore hari rata-rata sekitar 12,52% (250,33Lm).
2. Suhu dan kelembaban: a. Pada plot 1, pagi hari, suhu lingkungan rata-rata
23,8°C,
siang hari rata-rata 26°C
dan sore hari rata-rata 24,2°C. untuk kelembaban udara pada pagi rata-rata 84%, siang
hari rata-rata sekitar 84,7% dan sore hari rata-rata sekitar 86,7%; b. Untuk
suhu dan kelembaban pada plot 2, pada pagi hari suhu lingkungan rata-rata sekitar
24,5°C,
siang hari rata-rata 25,67°C dan sore hari rata-rata 24,17°C. Untuk
kelembaban udara pada pagi hari rata-rata 80%, siang hari rata-rata 80% dan sore
hari rata-rata 85,33%. 3. Untuk topografi: a. Pada plot 1, topografi antara 0 %
s/d 110 %, dengan komposisi sebagai berikut : datar/flat (0-8 %) 2,69 %,
landai/lower slope (8-15 %) 9,42 %, agak curam/mid slope (15-25 %) 2,76 %,
curam/steep (25-40 %) 40,91 % dan sangat curam/upper steep (> 40 %) 23,22
%;b. Untuk topografi plot 2, kelerengen lahan antara 0 s/d 50 %, dengan
komposisi : datar/flat (0-8 %) 19,27 %, landai/lower slope (8-15 %) 28,78 %,
agak curam/mid slope (15-25 %) 25,54 %, curam/steep (25-40 %) 19,33 % dan
sangat curam/upper steep (> 40 %) sekitar 7,07 %. Jenis P. malaanonan menyukai habitat dipinggir sungai dengan topografi
yang datar dan landau dan kondisi iklim mikro yang baik sehingga mendukung
pertumbuhan mereka.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the conditions of the
microclimate and topography at habitat Parashorea
malaanonan Merr in natural forests. The
research method as follows: 1. the research location in KHDTK Labanan, Berau
District, East Kalimantan and Tane Olen, Setulang village, Malinau district, North
Borneo; 2. Determination plot using purposive sampling method. form of research
plots is Squares with an area of 1 hectare; 3. Collecting data in the form of:
a. micro climate data, such as temperature, humidity, light intensity; b. topographic data; 4. Data analysis: data will be
tabulated and analyzed descriptively. Research result : 1. For light intensity:
a. at the plot 1 KHDTK Labanan, the average intensity of light in the
morning of 21.28% (425,3Lm), at noon on
average 29.63% (592,3Lm) and at the afternoon average 19.73% (394,3Lm); b. at
plot 2, in Tane olen, Setulang village, the average of intensity of light in the morning 20.04%
(400,67Lm), at noon on average 23.46%
(469Lm) and at the afternoon average
12.52 % (250,33Lm). 2. For temperature and humidity: a. at plot 1, in
the morning, the average temperature of 23.8°C, at noon, average 26°C and at the afternoon an average of
24.2°C. humidity in the morning, the average of 84%, at noon, average 84.7% and
at the afternoon, average 86.7%; b. For the temperature and humidity at plot 2,
in the morning of the average temperature of about 24.5°C, at noon, average
25.67°C and at the afternoon an average of 24.17°C. For the humidity, in the
morning, average 80%, at noon, average of 80% and at the afternoon, average
85.33%. 3. For topography: a. at plot 1, have topography between 0% - 110%,
with composition as follows: flat category(0-8%) 2.69%, ramps
(8-15% ) 9.42%, rather steep
(15-25%) 2.76%, steep (25-40%) 40.91% and
very steep (> 40% ) 23.22%; b. For topographical at plot 2, have
topography between 0 - 50%, with
composition as follows: flat
category (0-8%) 19.27%, ramps ( 8-15%) 28.78%,
rather steep (15-25%) 25.54%,
steep (25-40%) 19.33%, and very
steep (> 40%)7.07%. P. malaanonan
favor riverside habitats with flat topography and good climatic conditions so
as to support their growth
